HowTo: Create New Web App
The first essential step for you to do in order to have your website/web app hosted on Microsoft Azure is by knowing how to create a web app on Azure Portal. This tutorial will show you how to create a new web app on Azure from the portal.
- Log in to Azure Portal
- Click New and go for Web+Mobile

- Choose Web App
- Enter the name for your Web App in the App Name box. Make sure the name you entered has not been taken yet. There will be an indicator on the box whether it is available or not. The website will be hosted on azurewebsites.net and will show as *appname*.azurewebsites.net.
5. Choose the subscription you'll be using for your Web App if you have more than one subscription.
6. Pick an existing resource group or create a new one.7. Select the existing App Service plan/Location or create a new one.

8. When all is finished, press Confirm.
Azure will then create your Web App. And when it's done, you will be notified. The web app will show in your Dashboard. The Web App Settings menu will appear like below:
